Tang Hye vs. God of Death (Tournament of Blood - Round 8)

After looking at Tang's scans, I would say she's superior to GoD in strength, but he'd be able to sense that, and would thus use the Invisible Scythe in character

How would he have time to do those when he will be attacked by her poison butterfly as she stealthy approaches him? Don't forget that he can't counter her sensory perception as she senses his energy, life energy, At the same time the clap-stunning shouldn't do anything to her as martial artists, weaker than her casually stand in shockwaves that are emited by their voice or attacks. Those shockwaves powerful enough to push others from their range and even making impossible to reach them.

The Invisible Hand Scythe (the mini gun) won't do anything to her as she is a master of subterfuge and such tactics. That's one reason she is in top 10 strongest martial artist on her verse. Plus she has the Qi Separator that makes her have 2 minds in the same body increasing her perception/mind capacity and concentration/accuracy.

She can also create Ki barriers like other martial artists around her to block attacks. Her Ki can be used in multiple ways, barriers, attacks, sense things, and more.

Plus a gun has a lower attack potency than what she can take.

1. How does poison butterfly work?

2. If she detects him, he'll go straight to his trump cards: brainwashing, bloodlust, clap-stunning, and the Invisible Scythe

3. The clap-stunner isn't a physical shockwave, it's a psychological tactic. If she can hear and see him it should work, depending on her combat mentality.

4. He doesn't have the minigun, his student does. He's able to use it while practically unarmed by flicking grains of dust.

5. People in AC can take insane blows too, and the inferior version of the Invisible Scythe works on them just fine. It's essentially the same principle as a pressure point.

5. Alright, that's fair, that gives her a lot more of a toolkit to work with. The two minds in one body also might counter brainwashing or the clap stunner, depending on how it works.

Korosensei is superior to the second God of Death, who is superior to the likes of Korosensei's class, including Nagisa, who could stealth so hard he literally appeared out of nowhere to people already trained for this sort of things.

It doesn't stun you because the clap is hard, it does so by ******* up with your brain. A basic version by Nagisa can **** over an expert from the military, and the God of Death shows a much stronger version that attacks the mind when it is at a certain level of tension, with enough effect that it can pretty much leave Nagisa like he was in a coma for a few minutes.

It is not a gun, is a literal drop of sand. Karasuma is already on an inhuman level of power and it still worked, because it expertly avoids bones, muscles and everything else to quietly slip into the aorta. The first God of Death already showed he could do it easily, to multiple people, with only grains of sand.

The ki barriers do offer something more.

1. It will follow through the air the target.

2. Bloodlust won't work cause all masters have resistance to fear effects and the invisible hand is useless vs someone of her durability/ki barrier and reactions. The brainwashing not sure if it would work on her 2 minds.

Her mind is formidable as to get resistance to poison and to master it, one needs to use them on themselves. Not only that but she a medicinal genius, one of the best on intel gathering, having the experience to fight with all kinds of experts as how all can use Qi, then there are a lot of different abilities. The ring let her split her Qi and consciousnesses into multiple pieces. If we were to use martial arts to compare, take a person trying to use a fist technique and a sword technique at once. Not only is there a difference in the weapon one has to hold, but there's also a difference in the position that has to be taken, and the path one's qi needs to follow in the body. But once one uses the Qi Separator, one can use both of those techniques at once, completely ignoring the previous restrictions, because it allows one to split his/her Qi and consciousness perfectly, it's like having two people fighting together in one body.

So like I said, she'd be better in melee. If she doesn't literally have multiple minds, the clap stunner should function. The means of countering it involve either having thoughts too erratic to possess a peak wavelength, or intentionally focusing your attention elsewhere than the opponent, which has only been shown to work with prior knowledge and inflicting self-harm at that moment.

That doesn't sound like it would counter brainwashing.

Don't know about the ki barriers but the Invisible Scythe borderline ignores durability due to pressure points. That poison butterfly sounds like a problem though.

The Qi Barrier blocks attacks from all directions as it creates a globe around the user that will protect one from attacks.

She is also a good range-fighter thanks to ther poison needles and she has a very good accuracy as he can use pieces of a table that was broken in mid-air to attack another with them.

The clap stunner can be used through barriers (and in fact becomes more effective that way) but that does basically delete the Invisible Scythe as an option if the barrier is always active.

So his wincons have been limited to stunning and brainwashing, both of which are gonna be a bitch to pull off with poison butterfly in the mix

I'm happier that I found that the manhua was picked again after it was dropped a few months ago. This match made me look again today and I saw it again on translation.
