I think the profile only covers canon Ditto, which can't copy items other Pokémon have.
That’s fair. Though it doesn’t just copy any items in Smash, only the weapons and equipment a character always has on them, like Samus’ power suit or Marth’s Falchion. Edit: And their clothes of course.
