spideys precog is passive so he wouldn't get caught off guard by raidens HF blade at the start of the battle like that, he also has accelerated vision which increases his speed
 
I’m leaning towards 2099 due to his precog and time stop but I’m going to wait and see what others think.
 
His precog is passive, so he's literally using it all the time. Miguel won't be getting one tapped

Spidey's got a lot in his advantage here. Accelerated Vision, Accelerated Decoys, and the Accelerated Pulsar are gonna make it difficult for Raiden to land hits. That's not even taking into account the use of Time Paradox. The Spider-Sense is also going to help a lot in allowing Miguel to counter at ideal opportunities in the situation Raiden gets close. Any attempts at stealth are negated by the Spider-Sense as well.

Voting Spider-Man 2099 here. He's simply got the right abilities and skill to take out Raiden here (not to mention, he's no stranger to a variety of high tech weaponry)

So Raiden in this key has 10x speed with blade mode. I think that alone is enough, given that Miguel’s isn’t 10x (he doesn’t go to ftl+, which is >10x speed of light). And with his higher durability and immense pain tolerance one ZA WARUDO time stop won’t be enough to put him down.
He may be the fastest of the spider men but against something 10x his speed he isnt really gonna be able to dodge effectively, and any nick is an issue, given raiden dura negs, so any slash kinda just cuts through Miguel like butter

i thought he need ripper mode to boost 10x speed
 
"Any speed equalized match, in which a major reason a character loses is due to having a disadvantage against some speed value they usually wouldn't have a disadvantage against, may not be added to profiles.
  • As a result, winning a speed equalized match against a faster opponent due to a speed boost so large that it blitzes the opponent will not be added."
As we know, per versus thread rules, both characters are equalised to the slower character which is Raiden. Raiden at his fastest is Relativistic which is a speed value that's too slow for Miguel's FTL combat speed and reactions.

So are you saying that neither character blitzes the other even with their speed boosts?
 
would this match up be more fair if I put Raiden in his MGS4 key instead or should I just keep it the same?
