Small suggestion regarding dragon ball

As I read in a staff-only thread, there is a problem with the number of content revision thread that are popping lately regarding the dragon ball franchise. Well, Im sorry if Im not supposed to do this, but i wanted to help the staff but... well, its a staff-only thread so I didnt want to post there.

My suggestion would be: the creation of a "Dragon ball stat revision thread" open for users in which normal users can, and only (keyword, only) suggest possible upgrades/downgrades (pretty much what you have in the first post of a normal CR thread), discussion,however, should be done in a staff only "Dragon ball stat discussion thread" to avoid clogging. Normal users should avoid interfering with the debate or post agreeing or disagreeing in the normal-user thread.

Dunno if this idea helps, sorry to bother everyone.

I agree that all Dragon Ball upgrade threads should probably be staff only to avoid clogging.

An ongoing such thread to save space might also be an idea, but there is a risk that new subjects within it would not gain much attention after a while, due to the previous number of replies.

well i disagree with it only being staff only it would make the commnity have no input what so ever that wouldnt realy look good for the staff as a whole.

i think there should be 3 threads like the OP said but one for the gods One for what i call pseudo gods ( goku hit vegeta black Golden Friez basically any mortal with God ki or around goku and vegeta's power) and one for the mortal basically everyone else this way it will be more likely a mention would be noticed.

the thing is that while yes it seems unfair the thing is that well…if ANYBODY just jump up to discuss the upgrades/downgrades it might become circular meaning ppl make it hard to follow and take up the staffs energy as well as the potential to make new threads meaning more time is needed on the topic. DBS discussion thread isn't something that will be banned i'm sure but the upgrades/downgrades are the thing and if you want to comment on what you want to say in the staff thread you can always message one of the staff to give your own input

The past Dragon Ball upgrade threads filled with hundreds of replies within a few hours. That is completely unmanageable for the staff. Hence, all Dragon Ball upgrade threads should be accessible for the staff only.

i have tryed that before but they close it and say leav this to the staff if i keep trying they tell me if i dont stop i will be punished.

@ant that only happened ones becuse some dommy ( which was me ) put a link to it on the dragon ball discushin thread.

Well, regardless, Dragon Ball is a sensitive subject, and the staff generally do not have the time and energy to deal with extremely long discussion threads.

maybe it would be best if a rule is made so no one put a link to a revision thread on the dragon ball discushn thred agin as thats The only reason there were so many replies.

People who have knowledge on the series can speak on the upgrade/revision threads, and then we can have a general discussion thread?

Well, it is unlikely that something within the show will cause upgrades within the near future, but I have talked in private with another staff member about some potential changes to our system that could be very good news for Dragon Ball. It is still up in the air if they will happen though, and I cannot say more than that yet.

you mean the whole only one revigen thread after the end of a ark thing? thats not really privet anyone could see that.
