Slight Rorschach Upgrade

I was browsing through a Respect Thread for Rorschach on Reddit. I think some of these might be worth making Rorschach Street level or 9-C.

• Effortlessly smashes a door open.

• Breaks through a chain link fence. Then punches through a security door's glass.

• Throws an adult dog so hard that it breaks through a window as well as the bars of the window.

• Throws another dog that both smashes another window and subdues a man.

• Broke a lock with a casual shove.

• Easily squeezes a man's hand so hard it shatters the glass he was holding.

• Takes a beating from Ozymandius, who IIRC is a Peak Human martial artist.

• Falls out a window, lands on the concrete ground and then right after gets beatings from multiple athletic, combat trained and armed men without much serious injury.

I absolutely agree.

And Ozymandias isn't Peak Human, he is straight up superhuman. Even the other Watchmen point out that he is stronger and faster than any ordinary human is. He dodges bullets, after all.

Oh okay. Still I think Street level should be fine for Rorschach at least.

All of these feats are from the OG Watchmen, wow.

I'm surprised there's nothing from Before Watchmen here. It kinda upgraded the whole cast.

If Rorschach has better feats from Before Watchmen you're more than free to list them. But are you fine with Street level for now?

• Gets beat up by 8 me
• Knocks down a man with one punch
• Apparently dodges bullets
• Survives fall
• Apparently dodges bullets agai
• Gets beat up by a few people
• Breaks free of ropes

These are honestly all the feats in Before Watchmen: Rorscharch. There might be better feats in the Night Owl, Silk Spectre or Comedian comics, tho.

I think it's pretty safe to say Rorschach is Street level at this point. Those speed feats might have to be further evaluated though. Though I think there wouldn't be as many examples of him getting beaten up by groups of people if he were usually FTE.

Yeah, he isn't FTE.

Skimming through the Nite-Owl comic:

• 40s Nite Owl beat 11 dudes at once
• Nite Owl's training
• Jumps from his ship and isn't hurt, hits four people at once with his attacks, and punches a man hard enough he is sent flying
• Rorscharch knocks down a guy in one punch
• Hurls a fat guy with ease
• Presses the same guy against a wall hard enough for it to crack
• Punches a man hard enough he is sent flying through a glass wall
• Twillight Lady disappears from a man's view in the time it takes for him to turn his head

These are all the feats in the comic. A lot of this is blatantly superhuman.

Yeah. Street level Rorschach and Street level, maybe Wall level Nite Owl seems fine.

I can do the same for Silk Spectre and Comedian comics. Ozymandias' I know has a lot of feats but he is >>>>> Others human Watchmen since he is superhuman in-verse.

Alright. Ozymandias has a profile on this site. He's rated as Wall level but only for one feat of his.

Silk Spectre's:

• Teenage Laurie was already a skilled athlete
• teenage Laurie already overpowers her mother
• runs a lap around a guy
• Throws a bucket at a guy hard enough to knock him out and defeats three delinquents
• Defeats two women easily
• Kicks a guy through a door (NSFW because naked people)
• Moves fast enough to barely avoid a headshot
• Beats the guy despite her wound

Peak Human Silk Spectre is fine, although some of this is also superhuman.

Now for Comedian:

• Shooting people and takes a guy down with a kick
• Shooting people in Vietnam
• Shooting people in the streets
• Gets hit with a brick
• Survives fall off helicopter

Not many feats, and most are with guns. Comic's mostly about his time in Vietnam so to be expected.
