It's really not that big of a deal for me. It's one of those fun things that would happen if you ran the fight over a hundred times, but I think it happens a minority of the time due to the experience and AP difference

Saitama survived and kept going from hits by Crablante, who is an entire tier above Saitama and Simon, and still had energy and can move to use his tie to finish the Crab Monster off.

You would have to explain what about Pre-Training Saitama’s character would prevent him from using his Tie, when he used it the only fight he was in.
