Shinobu Oshino vs Dettlaff van der Eretein

I saw some of the Shinobu threads and since I had Dettlaff on my mind and they were both vampires, I thought they might make a good match up.

Both combatants are in character.

Speed is equalized.

Quasi-Vampire Shinobu.

Location is Diamond City.

Ive had this argument before with another user and their points were pretty compelling.

Basically either Shinobu gets sleep manip’d/one shot by literaly anything or Detlafff gets 1 shot by Kokowatari.

I have them in-character, so Dettlaff probably won’t use the sleep manipulation. I’m not sure how prone Shinobu is to using the sword, but Dettlaff tends to teleport and use his intangibility a lot, so it won’t be easy to hit him. Also, her regen is better isn’t it? One attack may not take her out. I’m curious what more knowledgeable people think.

Dettlaff primarily attacks with slashing and stabbing attacks using his claws. While it’s possible for him to bisect her and maybe even separate her into multiple pieces like he’s done with bandits, he could potentially try to end the fight with a more simple attack at first. Although, if he knew about her regen I reckon he’d go all in and Witcher vampires can often identify other vampires.

Shinobu has much better range and is prone to using her sword (her adult-nickname comes from the sword itself, and she's brought it out tons of times as a loli). If Dettlaff's unlikely to use sleep manip, I think that Shinobu's more likely to chuck some swords his way before she gets clawed to death.

Consider this a vote for Shinobu.
