Victory Conditions:

- Conan has to find out Kira's true identity, find solid evidence that proves he is guilty and arrest him before he can flee.

- Kira has to find out Conan's true identity and use the Death Note to kill him without be suspected of the murder.

True, but considering the extraordinary circumstances of the Kira's case and that its nothing like any standard homicide he has even face before, its probably that he would keep a open mind of any possibilities.

After all, if Conan was able to accept the fact that exist a poison that can turn people into childs, then he wouldn't had too much problem to accept the possibility that Kira can possess supernatural abilities.
