This is Varia Suit Samus being used here, speed is equalized and the fight takes place in an unpopulated version of Insomniac Games' New York City.

Samus :

Shocker :

Incon :

Dunno how AP stacks up but Samus has/is going to have a massive P&A edge, heat stuff with plasma beam and power bombs (latter of which is also just a good way to land guaranteed hits), ice missiles, she's probably a good bit more lasting via forcefields + stamina, idk what shocker does here

Does Samus have the Wave Beam in this key? Without it she's gonna he struggling to deal with Shocker's forcefield. Hell, his armor on its own is durable enough for the 8-A+ Spidey to hurt his hand by punching him in the face with it barely doing anything to Shocker himself.

No, the Wave Beam is the last one you get in Fusion. But I mean can't she just keep shooting him?

He can shoot back you know, he's not just sitting in a bubble until she gives up. He does have openings she could take advantage of but they're very brief unless she figures out his forcefield's weakness.

I think it's better to wait for us to revise Samus' P&A tbh, she has a few things that might help her here

Shocker seems to have a major LS advantage. Beyond that, I think the difference in each character's P&A kit is the most glaring.

I think Samus takes this pretty handily via Plasma Beam (Which she has according to her Varia Suit (Fusion) key on her profile) and her Resistance to Electro-Magnetism. There's also Speed Amps via the Speed Booster, which she also has access too in this key. Pretty sure Shocker gets Blitzed here if not melted into a fine microwaved pulp.

Seems like a huge stomp to me, but put me up for Samus anyways. I see her winning more times than Shocker for what it's worth.

The Speed Booster is pretty predictable BTW, she needs to run in basically a straight line for a while to get it going so it's not something she can just bust out to blitz him. For the rest, yea

Eh, Fusion's version of Speedboost is at least 3 seconds of running into activating Shinespark. It's pretty quick compared to Super Metroid afaik, but I guess it doesn't matter all that much. Point is it's quicker to activate than before if we wanna go strictly by Fusion's gameplay.

Shocker is a pretty skilled combatant, has a forcefield and is stronger than her without her rage amp so he has those going for him. He's one of the few people who were consistently shown being able to outbox Spider-Man's Spider-Sense in a 1v1, albeit he didn't beat him.
