Please report any rule violations in this thread. Notifying us of such incidents is highly appreciated.

Additionally, kindly report any sockpuppets that you come across.

Only report violations regarding the wiki rules. False reports due to personal vendettas are unacceptable.

Also, this thread should be for reporting actual rule-breaking, not every single little disagreement.

In cases of extreme vandalism or trolling, you can report the accounts at the VSTF wiki.

If blocked members create sockpuppet accounts to circumvent their block repetitively, or several are created at almost the same time, you may contact the Fandom Staff, to politely request permanent range IP blocks.

You can also find specific users with the Search Function by typing with the format: "User:Username"

Here is a useful page for discovering sockpuppet accounts: https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Special:Log/newusers

Notes:

All staff members, kindly follow and bookmark this thread.

Remember to inform members via their message walls if that you have reported them here, in case they have performed severe enough rule-violations to risk being blocked. However, this should only be used in uncertain cases, not if they have done something instantly ban worthy, or if their offenses are minor.

It is against the Fandom rules to upload any offensive images to the wiki, so in order to show screencapture evidence of extremely bad behaviour, you must use external sites, such as Gyazo or Imgur, in order to not get globally banned yourself by the higher-ups:

https://gyazo.com

https://imgur.com/

https://imageshack.us

Do not derail the Rule Violation Threads with irrelevant nonsense or internal disputes. It is solely for making serious, warranted reports of violations of the Site, Discussio, and Editing Rules, and not for discussion or side comments. Such posts should preferably be removed by the staff, and if a member continues to derail after being repeatedly told to stop, this will result in a temporary ban.

Given the extreme levels of systematic harrassment towards this community, kindly remember to not share/post any evidence of malware of child abuse publicly in order to prevent unwillful distribution. Submit any evidence of child abuse and severe systematic threats to the police.

If something goes outside the jurisdiction of the VS Battles wiki bureaucrats, or even the global Fandom staff, you need to report it personally to the authorities.

Also, absolutely do not click on any random links from suspicious users. You could potentially access content that contains dangerous malware or illegal types of pornography.

I'm pretty sure there's a rule specifically forbidding this, let me see if I can find it but yeah this just isn't the sort of thing that we host here. Try joke battles or maybe FC/OC for that.

Edit: Also avoid creating profiles for fan characters, advertisement characters, YouTube personalities, music videos, memes, stage personas, and the like. -Editing Rules

No offense, but this happens a lot especially with the same profiles so reporting only Ram when other posters do the same and are perfectly fine seems weird.

Two errors don't make a right. I don't support random threadless edits when in regards to big verses with loads of supporters among both staff and regulars, specially when said edits remove feats and abilities and descriptions from the profile without warning or explanation.

So does the whole change to various characters' ''Divinity'' paragraph in some of the profiles deserve reporting? It was just a correction and didn't have a CRT behind it.

Well, Ramesses has generally been a productive and knowledgeable member according to my experience, so I think that a ban would be an overreaction, but a warning is likely in order.

So I'm getting reported because I'm doing the whole rewrite Fate profiles revision that Prom was doing? But when Qlipoth adds stuff to profiles without a CTR he's fine?

This could've been prevented if someone would have just talked to Ramesses before this. This did not warrant thirteen messages of discussion, most of which were just back and forths. So I strongly agree with DDM that we need to start handling minor disputes on message walls. We have them for a reason.

I obviously agree with DDM and Sera.

I reported Ramesses because he was doing these mass Nasuverse edits without agreement on threads or discussions.

I have a question, what about if we're revising a verse that not a lot of people know about? Cause very few people would be bothered to go through a CRT for a verse that they don't particularly know anything about.

Well, our standard praxis is that a content revision thread is necessary before changing statistics.

I tend to try to help out with unattended CR threads that I notice.

The only statistics change without a CRT I did was Quetz and Fionn.

I was already reported for the Quetz change.

The Fionn change seemed to be approved by Ever and Prom at the time.

The Cu Alter upgrade was brought up in the High 7-A Np upgrade thread and it seemed to be approved or at the very least no one was against it.

Vlad had the Higher with Kazikli Bey removed because that part of the profile was being moved to another one. The other was me changing the profile back to what it was before QB's edit.

Sigurd, Nito, Martha were clean ups to match the other Servant profiles. Their statistics were not changed.

@Ramesses

Okay. That seems fine then.

I agree with Ant. It's the discussion mods and admins role to help out in any CRT, not just ones that interest them.

Also I will say, Matt, that you are an admin. Nothing is stopping you from asking Ramesses on his wall "hey what's up with the revisions your doing? I don't remember any CRT" or something like that. Just for clarification. Ant actually does a good job with this. He doesn't report someone for minor things, he messages them firsthand.

We all need to remember that when we make minor reports like this, it has the potential to cause heavy discussion between more people than necessary. If Ramesses would've outright ignored Matt, then I could see reporting him. He's a productive member and is generally well behaved from what I've seen, so I'm certain a little prior discussion wouldn't have hurt anything.

Did not need to see that...

Also, Broly's profile is now without his first form.

He was in JBW's Chat as well (we don't have the 10 edits restriction there). He's definitely not doing anything particularly sock-esque, but I had my doubts the second I saw him.

Keep a look out.
Did we get rid of the wiki lockdown situation (the 10 edits rule)?

Well, I think that we still have a 10 edit restriction before entering the chat or editing profile pages, but it is possible to post in threads or on your message wall before that.
