Round 1 of the 7-B Tournament! Oryx vs Corrin! Grace!

Mechanically speaking Conquest is the best, story-wise eh, all of them are kinda crap. Missed opportunities everywhere just for another chance to suck off Corrin
Well at least The Mad God put the Mary Sue in her place

Were going to spend the rest of grace dissing Corrin and Fire Emblem Fates as a whole aren't we lol

To me, Fates is more of a game that tried to replicate the success of Awakening, but failed miserably mostly due to its botched translation and admittedly shoehorned mechanics, such as the children of married characters joining your army.

The fact that Corrin's addition to Super Smash Bros was basically a glorified advertisement for Fates didn't help much either.

I mean, same happened when Byleth joining smash in Three Houses, people were salty, but people still regard Three Houses as one of the best games on Switch
Three Houses had been out for well over a year before Byleth was announced for Smash.

Corrin was announced for Smash practically alongside the release of Fates.

Edit: Okay, they were announced about half a year after the initial release of Fates. However, the game was still relatively unpopular, especially in the West, and he just overall felt like a shoehorned advertisement for a game no one particularly cared for, as opposed to Awakening.

Oryx FRA
Man, and i still remember when Tomb of Ancients was considered the hardest dungeon.
ah, the good old days, when pets weren't overpowered to hell and back and O1 was actually decently difficult and wasn't ran the hell over effortlessly to the point where its embarrassing to die to O1
