Regarding mushroom cloud explosions...

I was wondering, say if a physical attack were to create a mushroom cloud when it makes contact with the ground, what would you do with it to figure out the AP of the attack? Wpuld you use the star destroyer calculator listed on the calculation page, or another method?

A mushroom cloud is basically just caused by an air current carrying up smoke, vapor or debris into the air.

So essentially if you could figure out the density of the smoke or something you could calculate that with Potential Energy. But it is hard to figure out such a density and it will not result in anything impressive.

And I mean really not impressive. According to wikipedia an 11 ton yield bomb has already caused mushroom clouds. And most of those bombs energy does not contribute to the creation of the cloud, which means any calculated result is likely far below.
