Question about Shantae's Lightning feats

According to this bio, Shantae is able to fight the Giga Mermaid who's "lightning bolts" can generate 5 Gigajoules of electricity.

But is the Giga Mermaid REALLY using lightning? Or is it just mere electricity manipulation or magic lightning? If so, then could it really be compared to the power of natural Lightning?

On that note, if it really is comparable to natural lightning in terms of it's power, then why not it's speed? Shantae is able to dodge the Giga Mermaid's "Lightning" during battle and doing so is essential to winning (The visual ques of where it will land are most likely indicators for the player/gameplay)

Shouldn't that be enough to consider her a lightning timer? If not, then isn't the mere act of dodging electric attacks enough to bump up her speed a bit? Electrcity can travel at 60 km per second, and during the entire battle Shantae is able to dodge those electric attacks through out the entire boss battle. (This could put her at massively hyper sonic)

Though at the same time, people argue that it's not "real" electricity because of the fact that all these different electric attacks are moving at different speeds, and in real life electricity only moves at one consistant speed; so if some electric attacks are slower and/or faster than others during gameplay, then it might now count (Even if one can argue that the varying speed of the electric attacks is for gameplay purposes for the sake of giving the boss more kinds of attacks while allowing the player a chance to evade them)

Due to a recent revision, if electricity packs at least 5 Gigabolts of power, then we count it as actual lightning, so yes we can probably up her speed. If you find a clip of her speed relative towards the lightning, that be helpful.

How would I know that though? She's just able to dodge the Giga Mermaid' electric attacks generated by the gem in the Giga Mermaid's head during gameplay and is fast enough to run out of the way or step out of the way of it after visual ques given to the player.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fn592kH9BUs The boss battle starts 1:25 in. I'm not sure if any of this qualifies or not though.

But people have said dodging electricity/lightning in game via gameplay still counts (A good example is Tales of Symphonia; dodging lightning during gameplay seems to count towards their stats) but here, people have made plenty of arguements as to why it is and isn't valid (Which I went over in my first post)

Roughly how far away is she from the giga mermaid when avoiding the lightning bolts?

No idea. I provided a video link to the boss battle above, but that's all I got.

I have no idea how to measure Shantae's distance since we don't even know Shantae's official height, the Giga Mermaid's position/distance changes depending on the point of the battle/where ever the player moves Shantae, and I suck as calcs, pixel scaling, and math in general since I quite literally failed math class itself.

Well, we consider lightning to move at Mach 1294, so if she was up to 12.94 meters away, and moved 1 meter to dodge, her speed would be Massively Hypersonic.

Is that legit?

Well, if she stood very close to whoever shot the lightning, it would probably be MHS.

Personally, I believe it is aim dodging, because the Giga Mermaid's Lightning attacks are well telegraphed. Even if you say the markers on the ground are just game mechanics. The lightning always strikes in set patterns for the downward stroke versions.

Also it is good to note that the aimed lightning in the later phase that the Giga Mermaid uses, is pretty undodgeable if Shantae is in its line of fire. It too is telegraphed, but if she is in its sights when it fires she can't really dodge it, It moves faster than she does.

The downward stroke does not really move as fast as she does since she can walk or jump out of the way. So the speeds of the lightning attacks are not really consistent either.
