According to this bio, Shantae is able to fight the Giga Mermaid who's "lightning bolts" can generate 5 Gigajoules of electricity.
But is the Giga Mermaid REALLY using lightning? Or is it just mere electricity manipulation or magic lightning? If so, then could it really be compared to the power of natural Lightning?
On that note, if it really is comparable to natural lightning in terms of it's power, then why not it's speed? Shantae is able to dodge the Giga Mermaid's "Lightning" during battle and doing so is essential to winning (The visual ques of where it will land are most likely indicators for the player/gameplay)
Shouldn't that be enough to consider her a lightning timer? If not, then isn't the mere act of dodging electric attacks enough to bump up her speed a bit? Electrcity can travel at 60 km per second, and during the entire battle Shantae is able to dodge those electric attacks through out the entire boss battle. (This could put her at massively hyper sonic)
Though at the same time, people argue that it's not "real" electricity because of the fact that all these different electric attacks are moving at different speeds, and in real life electricity only moves at one consistant speed; so if some electric attacks are slower and/or faster than others during gameplay, then it might now count (Even if one can argue that the varying speed of the electric attacks is for gameplay purposes for the sake of giving the boss more kinds of attacks while allowing the player a chance to evade them)
