Question about dragon ball super time rings

We know that time rings create an alternate timeline, and we know that if the alternate timeline is destroyed, the ring is destroyed. My question is, if we destroy the time ring, do we destroy an alternate timeline?

I moved this to the questions and answers board.

As for the OP, we don't assume it does destroy the timeline if the ring is destroyed.

The answer to all your questions can be found here, where I explained in detail that Zen'ō erased the timeline completely.

So, yes after you destroy the timeline, the ring that represents the time and space of that timeline is gone, there's just a void with nothing left.

So what's the reason, they're both interconnected, aren't they?
Yes, both is a representation of the same, when you erase the timeline the ring goes along with that line, the timeline/ and spacetime is represented by the timering, when you change the past you create another parallel world with different history and totally different space-time, this is explained during the Goku Black arc.

Dude, that's not my question. If we destroy the time ring, do we destroy the timeline?

That's the same question, if you destroy a timeline you will be destroying the time ring, the same can be said when you destroy the time ring, explanation and self explanatory.

Bro, could you close this? The question has already been answered and the doubt is gone.

no, he didn't, he just brought headcanon to a question literally impossible to properly answer without a canonical occurence of it, the rings pop in if a timeline is born and they are gone if they are as well, of course

but none of that confirms that destroying the ring itself would destroy the timeline, not only does that make it nonsensical that they are put in just a box anyone can get if they reach the kai's world, but think about it, if you are watching an live report in your TV and it suddenly dissappeared due to your signal going off or your TV turning off, do you think the report itself was cancelled or destroyed? no, but if the report was cancelled or destroyed, you wouldn't be able to watch it in your TV

so no, the rings being dependent on the timelines doesn't prove that the timelines are dependent on the rings
