Pokémon vs digimon death battle thoughts

The Charizard vs wargreymon death battle gave me a lot of thoughts.

First of all if death battle is going to make more Pokémon vs digimon. They should know that digimon is going to almost always win.

Second the death battle showed how butthurt Pokémon fans were.

Third the death battle ended up causing a lot of flame wars.

So what are your thoughts on the Pokémon vs digimon death battle.
