@Udlmaster has made a WIP profile for both Ravel and the Nameless One , but after some talks we agreed with different AP ratings. This thread will be to discuss these along with extras like the P&A sections along with speed

Ravel

At least 6-B, likely High 6-A (Although overpowered, she contended with the Transcendent One for a peroid of time. Easily killed the Good Incarnation of the Nameless One, who created the Fortress of Regrets. Noted as being one of the strongest beings in the Multiverse and the strongest of any of the Hags of the Grey Wastes), possibly Low 2-C (Would be able to contend with Solars, who are powerful enough to makeDemon Princes fear for their well being. Princes can control the space-time of infinite planar layers in the Abyss). At least 2-A with prep (Created an immortality spell so powerful that no god could overcome it. Was going to destroy the Torus underneath the Sigil in an attempt to free the Lady of Pain. The Torus is the fulcrum of the entire multiverse)

Transcendent One

At least 6-B (Capable of killing the Solar Trias, retains all of the powers and memories from previous incarnations which should make him comparable to the Good Incarnation who made the Fortress of Regrets), likely High 6-A (Noted as being the strongest person the Nameless One has ever encountered, putting him above multiple Demons, Celestial Hosts, extremely powerful mages, and even other outer plane beings like Ravel), possibly Low 2-C (Solars are so powerful that even Demon Princes fear their might. Demon Princes can control the space-time of their own infinite layers)

Nameless One

6-B
(Created the Fortress of Regrets) | [Placeholder]. possibly Low 6-B (Fought and sealed Vhailor who was able to kill a Solar. Although the Solar was just previously injured in a fight, so its unknown if he scales to his full strength) | At least High 8-C | At least 6-B (Absorbed the the knowledge and abilities of all previous incarnations), likely High 6-A (Is able to fight and defeat the Transcendent One), possibly Low 2-C (Defeated the Solar Trias. Solars are so powerful that even Demon Princes fear their might. Demon Princes can control the space-time of their own infinite layers) | At least 2-C, likely 2-A (Was stated to be able to bend the planes to his will. With even the smallest of outer planes being equal in size to an entire multiverse. Noted as being a Planar Power before a collective of multiple Gods punished him for his previous sins)

Good Incarnation | Practical Incarnation | Paranoid Incarnation | Nameless One | Ultimate One

As a note, before the profiles are made I'll add in the scales for the 2-A stuff since its pretty important that they have scans behind their reasonings.

Another issue is probably speed. You fine with "At least HH, possibly infinite" rather than just infinite.

All looks fine to me b0ss.

This is probably fine.

So before I make the profiles here's what I'm going to give the characters. Tell me if you think its fine for Ravel (I have to get more scans for the Nameless One and the Transcendent One):

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Power Bestowal (Gave the Nameless One his immortality, is able to share her Secrets with others, which empowers them), Genius Intelligence, Longevity, Magic, Energy Manipulation, Elemental Manipulation (Of the fire, ice, water, earth, wind, lightning, acid, and sound varieties), Poison Manipulation, Light Manipulation, Darkness Manipulation, Mind Manipulation, Soul Manipulation, Minor Luck Manipulation, Divination, Shapeshifting, Transmutation, Petrification, Creation, Forcefield, Power Nullification, Several attacks ignore durability or instantly kill, Healing, Regenerationn (Low-Mid with spells), Immortality (Type 1, 2, 3, 4), Dream Manipulation (Night Hags are able to haunt and walk to others Dreams.), Disease Manipulation (Night Hags can inflict Diseases onto others), Selective Intangibility, Teleportation, Non-Physical Interaction (Her spells are able to affect souls, concepts and even their Mortality), Illusion Creation, Spatial Manipulation, Time Manipulation, Can open portals, Battlefield Removal, Telepathy, Psionics, Summoning, Reality Warping via Limited Wish and Wish. Resistances to: Mind Manipulation, Fire Manipulation, Ice Manipulation, Fear Manipulation, and Magic. A wide array of contingency effects further protect her from harm

Attack Potency: At least Country Level, likely Multi-Continent Level (Although overpowered, she contended with the Transcendent One for a period of time. Easily killed the Good Incarnation of the Nameless One, who created the Fortress of Regrets. Noted as being one of the strongest beings in the Multiverse and the strongest of any of the Hags of the Grey Wastes which should put her within the range of Legendary Monsters such as the Phaetho), possibly Universe level+ (Would be able to contend with Solars, who are powerful enough to makeDemon Princes fear for their well being. Princes can control the space-time of infinite planar layers in the Abyss). At least Multiverse level+ with prep (Created an immortality spell so powerful that no god could overcome it. Was going to destroy the Torus underneath the Sigil in an attempt to free the Lady of Pai. The Torus is the fulcrum of the entire multiverse)

Speed: At least Hypersonic+, with High Hypersonic+ reactions (far above people who can avoid the Call Lightning and can tag individuals with the evasion feat), possibly Infinite speed (Capable of battling Demon Princes who can control the space-time of their own layer)

So the Transcendent One

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Non-Physical Interaction (Magic in D&D can interact with conceptual demons, abstract devils, intangible elementals, and incorporeal ghosts; potent enough magic can even affect fully nonexistent beings such as Shar), Non-Corporeal (Is able to become Intangible), Magic, Reality Warping, Self-Sustenance (Types 1, 2, and 3, Never requires food or nourishment at any time), Truesight, Spatial Manipulation, Matter Manipulation, Existence Erasure (Is able to Unmake beings through here will), Life/Death Manipulation, BFR, Soul Manipulation, Absorption, Regenerationn (Mid-Godly: Should scale to Ravel, nothing ever thrown at him has ever permanently killed him, this would include attacks from the Gods), Abstract Existence (Is the Nameless One's Mortality given Conceptual form), Immortality (Types 1, 2, 5. The Transcendent One is the living mortaility of the Nameless One), Telekinesis, Ice Manipulation, Electricity Manipulation, Disease Manipulation, Forcefield Creation, Lock Manipulation, Necromancy, Magic Nullification, Weather Manipulation, Illusion Creation, Fear Manipulation, Smoke Manipulation, Death Manipulation, Body Puppetry, Energy Manipulation, Energy Projection, Dimensional Travel, Regenerationn Negation (Mid-Godly, can prevent souls from becoming repaired after the total destruction of the being by feeding them to himself or to his Atropal), Teleportation, Mind Manipulation, Time Manipulation, Paralysis Inducement, Curse Manipulation, Life Manipulation, Statistics Amplification, Explosion Manipulation, Sealing, Gravity Manipulation, Power Modification, Heat Manipulation, likely many others, Extreme Resistance to Ice Manipulation, Electricity Manipulation, Death Manipulation, Poison Manipulation, Any non-magical damage (magic being Reality Warping and mundane, general, "magic"), Mind Manipulation, Perception Manipulation, Deafening, Fear Manipulation, Petrification, Transmutation, Paralysis Inducement, Necromancy, Possession, Sleep Manipulation, Disease Manipulation, Statistics Reduction, Energy Manipulation, Magic, and Reality Warping

Attack Potency: At least 6-B (Capable of killing the Solar Trias, retains all of the powers and memories from previous incarnations which should make him comparable to the Good Incarnation who made the Fortress of Regrets), likely High 6-A (Noted as being the strongest being the Nameless One has ever encountered, putting him above multiple Demons, Celestial Hosts, extremely powerful mages, and even other outer plane beings like Ravel), possibly Low 2-C (Solars are so powerful that even Demon Princes fear their might. Demon Princes can control the space-time of their own infinite layers)

Speed: At least Hypersonic+, with High Hypersonic+ reactions (far above people who can avoid the Call Lightning and can tag individuals with the evasion feat), possibly Infinite speed (Capable of battling Demon Princes who can control the space-time of their own layer)

The Nameless One (do note that the P&A section is a WIP since I have to divide and change up some of the powers between the forms)

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Non-Physical Interaction (Magic in D&D can interact with conceptual demons, abstract devils, intangible elementals, and incorporeal ghosts; potent enough magic can even affect fully nonexistent beings such as Shar), Non-Corporeal (Is able to become Intangible), Magic, Reality Warping, Self-Sustenance (Types 1, 2, and 3, Never requires food or nourishment at any time), Truesight, Spatial Manipulation, Matter Manipulation, Existence Erasure (Is able to Unmake beings through here will), Life/Death Manipulation, BFR, Soul Manipulation, Absorption, Regenerationn (Mid-Godly: Should scale to Ravel, nothing ever thrown at him has ever permanently killed him, this would include attacks from the Gods), Immortality (Types 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 [The Nameless One automatically revives after dying, where someone else dies in his place as he lacks his mortality, however, there's a chance he can lose his memories), Telekinesis, Ice Manipulation, Electricity Manipulation, Disease Manipulation, Forcefield Creation, Lock Manipulation, Necromancy, Magic Nullification, Weather Manipulation, Illusion Creation, Fear Manipulation, Smoke Manipulation, Death Manipulation, Body Puppetry, Energy Manipulation, Energy Projection, Dimensional Travel, Regenerationn Negation (Mid-Godly, can prevent souls from becoming repaired after the total destruction of the being by feeding them to himself or to his Atropal), Teleportation, Mind Manipulation, Time Manipulation, Paralysis Inducement, Curse Manipulation, Life Manipulation, Statistics Amplification, Explosion Manipulation, Sealing, Gravity Manipulation, Power Modification, Heat Manipulation, likely many others, Extreme Resistance to Ice Manipulation, Electricity Manipulation, Death Manipulation, Poison Manipulation, Any non-magical damage (magic being Reality Warping and mundane, general, "magic"), Mind Manipulation, Perception Manipulation, Deafening, Fear Manipulation, Petrification, Transmutation, Paralysis Inducement, Necromancy, Possession, Sleep Manipulation, Disease Manipulation, Statistics Reduction, Energy Manipulation, Magic, and Reality Warping | All previous to a higher degree except Immortality (Type 4)

Speed: At least Hypersonic+, with High Hypersonic+ reactions (far above people who can avoid the Call Lightning and can tag individuals with the evasion feat) | At least Hypersonic+, with High Hypersonic+ reactions, possibly Infinite speed (Capable of battling Demon Princes who can control the space-time of their own layer) | Unknow | At least Hypersonic+, with High Hypersonic+ reactions, possibly Infinite speed | Unknow, likely Infinite speed (Able to control the space-time of entire planar layers)

Keys: Good Incarnation | Practical Incarnation | Paranoid Incarnation | Nameless One | Ultimate One

The Ultimate One shouldn't have Type 5 Immortality either, having his Immortality back.

Also, noticing the P&A are copied from my blog XD

Yeah I copy pasted the Ultimate One mostly. I'm trying to figure out how to shell out powers. As for your blog, yeah, since I think all of the powers are right.

Yeah, Summon should definately be on there with the LoP ragdoll.

There could also be Fate Manipulation

This is probably fine.

Shouldn't the Nameless One and the Ultimate One (And by extension Ravel) have Supergenius Intellect with Nameless One being stated to be among the smartest beings in the Multiverse.

Besides that, looks good, I feel I am missing something for Ravel however, but I'll deal with that in a CRT if I figure out what we're missing.

Dunno really. Guess I could through in a "possibly Supergenius" in there.

Looks fine, though I suspect that infobox may need tweaked in the future since that thread isn't really done yet.

What are their intelligence feats?

Basically they upscale intelligence wise from guys like the Elder Brain who I believe we talked about before. Elder Brain acts as a recepticle for all knowledge of the Mind Flayers it is tied to all the way back to the Mind Flayer civilization which spanned the multiverse collecting knowledge for said brains, and which knew how to harvest stars/merge multiverses/etc in a largely normal fantasy setting. These guys are listed as "At least Extraordinary Genius, possibly Super Genius" at Int 21 IIRC, and it stays that rating until 42 via scaling to Gond.

For the Nameless One at the end of the game his Intelliegence is rated as a 25. Which is noted as being godlike in the system, stated as being amongst the smartest beings in the multiverse, and allows him to predict entire combat engagements before they happen.

Ravel's stuff would be the same as above (though she's rated at 23 rather than 25), and knows a lot more prep spells. Its why I originally didn't include super genius in their profiles, since they lack the proper scaling to someone like Vecna or Gond who do have feats on that scale.

I am very uncertain about giving Supergenius ratings for just intelligence statistics of 25. The feats do not seem anywhere near high enough. Supergeniuses should essentially be able to warp reality almost any way that they want with their inventions.

Yeah, that's why I didn't include it originally. I'll remove it.

Besides that though, is everything else alright?

Oh, right, Qa, shouldn't Ravel have Mid-Godly regen? Via being able to come back after the destruction of the Maze and being destroyed by the Transcendent One?

It isn't outright Supergenius. It is possibly supergenius. And that's what they did. Mind Flayer tech was gonna overwrite the normal multiverse with one in which their civilization was still alive and well and thriving.

I swear we've had this discussion before but maybe I'm misremembering?

Well its not her body was destroyed. Just the maze. Even then she came back because she had back up plans in place.

I think that you severely underestimate just how ridiculously extreme amounts of intelligence it takes to qualify for Supergenius, and that the Dungeons and Dragons profiles likely have an inflation of these ratings even for cases that barely qualify for Extraordinary Genius by the standards we use for other verses. Supergenius should be used very very sparingly.

I don't mean after the Nameless one defeated her I mean when the Transcendent One killed her and she came back.

But she didn't come back. She died once after he fought her.

Wouldn't be to shocking. Intelligence is harder to universally quantiy compared to other stats.

She actually does, as all the supporting characters you find throughout the world are just Avatars of Ravel, however, after her "death" we do still find one of them, proving Ravel to still be alive.

I think the breadth of the intelligence of an Elder Brain and Beholder are vastly misunderstood given that the former is only Genius and the latter isn't Super Genius to begin with but k

As far as I know, the only shard to have survived after Ravel dies is Mebbeth. Who dies right after talking to the Nameless One since Ravel no longer exists. This is one of her first lines to the Nameless One when they meet again

  • Mebbeth nodded - every movement was pained. "Aye, my precious one..." She winced as she took a breath. "Seeing ye here... it is like an echo. Little time remains... the threads, these Ravels... they are unraveling as we speak."
And she later says this

  • "I am dying now..." She blinked her rheumy eyes. "My end... it's traveling from all of time's directions, all of Ravel's threads are unraveling..." She coughed. "Yet..." Her gray eyes locked upon me. "Mayhap not all is lost... one of my black-barbed seeds from the maze... did ye bring one with ye?"
Which is why I don't think Mid-Godly applies to her. Unlike the Nameless One who has direct deity scaling.

By the way, I had to delete the Ravel page yesterday, due to that it used an infobox before we have made all of the necessary preparations for this. My apologies.

If you restore it I can remove the infobox in a couple minutes.
