Pepsiman Profiles

So would the bosses from the Pepsiman game count? Can we make profiles for them?

For one, the Pepsi Can at the end of the game starts rolling all by itself, seemingly triggered by Pepsiman running underneath it.

Just a few seconds after that, you see the Pepsi Can turn about 45 degrees all on its own to chase after Pepsiman. You see it land pointing diagnally to Pepsiman's left, and then turn straight in his direction upon bouncing back up.

Next, it attacks by creating Pepsi Cans for Pepsiman to dodge. They literally come right out of the can. Some are even thrown upwards at an angle.

So is this enough evidence to show that this can is a sentient being, and thus eligible to get a profile made for it?

There's also another boss in the game that works exactly the same, only it's just a big cluster of logs that fires more rolling logs at you instead of cans. Can a profile be made for that too?

Advertisement mascot profiles aren't allowed.

There are plenty of video games that star Ronald McDonald and the Burger King but you don't see them here for obvious reasons.

  • Do not create any joke profiles, as they do not fit into our tiering system. Also avoid creating profiles for fan characters, advertisement characters, YouTube personalities, music videos, memes, stage personas, and the like. If you wish to create such profiles, feel free to do so in the Joke Battles wiki instead.

Quick question, why do we have such a rule? Seems pretty arbitrary to me. If they are actual characters with actual feats, I don't see the issue with them.

We have music characters, and yet aren't allowd to have characters like Weird Al, Micheal Jackson, and other characters that are live action limiting it to animated music characters. The rules are just weird.

It's kinda weird yeah, but we're gonna have to draw the line somewhere. It's gonna seem arbitrary no matter where we draw it, but every time we allow something else, it opens up some new doors, so we gotta make policies to ensure that we don't end up getting Sonic OCs on our website.

If you want to say, the truck driver of Red Pizza can be a valid character (he appears in the game as well as in the ad so I am sure he is a valid character).

He is an average athletic man (mid-point 10-A) on a truck doing 9-B damage by mowing down objects with a truck.

If you accept this then I can make a profile for that.

don't you ******* dare delete my boi Pepsiman, he's got his own game and with it his own feats, he is fine.

>seems pretty Arbitrary

>awkward laughing

We have such a rule to prevent shitpost profiles. Really, this isn't the place for advertising mascots, and you'd kill the mods trying to deal with the waves of spite/stomp battles with the Burger King and Ronald McDonald, who have games and also have legitimate feats. Remember Chuck Norris?

It's a good rule and I hope it stays. JokesBattles exists for a reason beyond spam profiles, people.

Tbh JBW doesn't acctually take vs debating seriously. Profiles on there are pretty much pointless.
Well what if there is a mascot built for music videos and real children education software should they be allowed or disallowed to have a profile? Barney, Teletubbies, Bob the Builder... There are multiverses for us to explore.

But this isn't feats from advertising, its feats from a legotimaye video game
Okay so for the video game, I am still sure truck driver can be added as a legit boss of Pepsiman PS1 "temple run" game. Do not think the logs and a large can are sentimental beings though.

Jokesbattles wiki doesn't take VS Debating seriously because people think it's just for shitposts. Hell, they recently purged thousands of spam articles from what I heard. There are plenty of ad mascot profiles there that are actually well made and funny to read.

>Then saying "You can put your well made profile there" is pretty much an insult to people.

Not reading the rules and then expecting people to not tell you them out of respect for said great work is even more insulting, if you're playing at that angle.

Headless: Iirc that never went through. They just talked about it. I could be mistaken though.

Headless: Got me there.

Though we already have santa...who as everyone knows is a Coca Cola mascot, and has litterally no real canon. Why do we have that profile again?
IMO...

Except Santa is not even a Coca Cola specific mascot to begin with. Coca Cola just makes it famous and somehow has a version of its own mascot.

Coca Cola later has a video game mascot of Coca Cola Kid and an ad mascot of Coca Cola Polar Bear.

I know he wasn't but when his profile is basically a composite of Father Christmas and Saint Nicholas who weren't originally the same person, as well as including song feats and the like, you kinda start having a couple consistancy issues. Not saying to delete it, the character is just a bit weird, like most modern day myths are.

and yeah ik the other mascots.
