Why is Ainz the same level as Shalltear? It is obvious from everything that he is stronger than all of the Tombs floor guardians. He literally compares himself to other level 100s and says he is like 3x better than them all. So im confused why he is this level. Also first book? Says he is country level.

And I reread the first book today. During his fight with the slanes, and when he wrecks the angel easily. It says the angel is city level and then says Ainz is probably country level.

Yeah, it should. Doesn't rule out the possibility of it being bad. The difference in the quality of the translation can vary a lot, depending on who the translator is. I haven't read any of them, but i head that the No Game No Life translation is pretty bad, while the SAO translation is really good.
