During a terrible civil war between The Empire and the Rebel Alliance, brave adventurers must come together to save the day.
This setting would combine elements of Wuxia, Western Fantasy, and Science Fiction. The Empire reigns over entire worlds throughout space and various other dimensions, and is the enemy of The Overlord's Regime. However, after a Ceasefire between The Regime and The Empire, The Empire allows this Regime to massacre two Temple Cities, ( With one of the Temple Cities is located in a Western High Fantasy world, while the other was in a Far Eastern Fantasy world.) in order to fulfill the terms of it's Ceasefire Treaty with The Regime. As a result, The Rebel Alliance comes together to cast off The Empire.
The main characters could decide to cast off The Empire first or go directly go after The Overlord's forces.
Character Concept:
Power Sets can be anything that makes sense within the context of the setting. A wizard, a wuxia martial artist, a mad scientist/cyborg, etc. Just give a character's concept before I come up with a character sheet. Please note, in addition to the wizards, the master martial artists and scientists, there are actually Jedi/Sith like energy users in this setting. They are largely centralized within The Empire.
Also, this game is partially inspired by Skyrim, you could also have some characters on the side of the Empire , and some on the Rebel Alliance's side.
