they would have no reason to specify “which was not drawn in the original or anime”
If it wasn’t meant to be seen as canon
And notice how they mention “drawn” not even just in the original but was not drawn in the original implying once again this story itself is connected and apart of the original it simply wasn’t drawn in.
They also don’t do this for any other movie just as film gold or stampede so don’t even see how there’s a arguement against it

Because it wasn't.

An actual event that took place in the manga was shown in a movie.
The event was the timeskip's training.
It was never shown in the manga or anime.
So they said they would create it.

They never said that it's canon, they just said they're gonna fill in the gaps for something not shown in both the anime and manga
 
There are already two staff members that disagree with the CRT, so this should either be closed or get more staff. But seeing how the two major staff OP Supporters (bar Mitch) I doubt this is going to get accepted
 
It's an easy thing to vouch for and also easy to prove it just so happens that the guy who made the thread isn't great at arguing for his case sadly.

Considering how long it has been, I think it's safe to say this is rejected now and borderline necro. I'll close this.
