EDITH can hack any major world telecommunication sevice by statement but in shown feats it was just used for wiping a phone.

Syndrome's final omnidroid shouldn't be used as an example in favour of something since it turned against Syndrome in like 3 minutes. If it can figure out Beck is hacking it, it might as well attack Syndrome too

Yes, that's why I said "one version away from". Now, idk if this does anything but Syndrome's tech could intercept the calls of a government airplane, would it be reasonable to assume that his regular, newer tech he makes isn't susceptible to the same type of stuff?

Idk, that's speculative to assume, especially given that Omnidroid never had to adapt against hacking before.

Also, anything can intercept calls from a government plane, Helen was asking permission to land, so any half decent radio could intercept that since that is the point of an airport radio. They weren't actively hacking her or something

Intercept as in it never reached its destiny, unless everyone was just drinking coffee at the same time.

In any case we don't really know if hacking could be as practical and useful as it usually is, major world telecommunication sevices are stuff that one can be fundamentally understood (as in calls come and go within places), but this is not the case at all with a futuristic adaptable artificial intelligence.

Because he's been retconned out as the Mandarin, who instead'll be the primary antagonist of Shang-Chi, though to be fair Killian was as much of a Mandarin in IM3 as that old guy was Mysterio in FFH, Mandarin is basically the whole Extremis programme in it
