Well, I don't see how Metal Sonic can touch Crocodile firstly. When Crocodile get a good grasp on him, Metal Sonic will just be turn into a pile of sand. No Type 1 Immortality is gonna save the metal bastard. Crocodile can use his hook to inflict some corrosion damage as well and corrode Metal man.

First, Neo starts by copying its opponents' powers and abilities, that's what makes this not a stomp and this is NMS after copying the all powers of Shadow and Sonic

I don't think he can copy Croc's abilities, Devil Fruits work on a biological level and effects the very DNA of the user and two Devil Fruits can't exist at the same time.

Hmmmmmm, could Metal Sonic copy that of Devil Fruit. I'm very doubtful on that but if he somehow could, then this match would just be inconclusive as neither of them would be able to hit the other.

Neo was able to copy Shadow's abilities as Time Stop, which are also unique to Shadow, as it is said capable of copying control abilities on the Sol Emeralds (magical or dimensional artifacts) and unique transformations such as Burning Blaze could be copied by MS, so why would not you be able to copy the skills of Crocodile? And also Neo is a machine and has nothing biological and DNA so that the Devil Fruit can disrupt it

You just explained it, unless Shadow's powers come from his DNA and solely his DNA then he wouldn't be able to copy Croc's powers due to Croc's powers steaming from his DNA / Lineage Factor. If it's from magical and dimensional artifacts then no, he wouldn't be able to copy. He'd have to copy Croc's very Lineage Factor in order to copy his abilities which he can't do since he lacks any to begin with.

Literally, Neo just needs to see the abilities of his opponents and then manages to copy them, that's how he copied the fighting styles and powers of Shadow and Sonic, yes, he was said able to copy the fighting style, powers and control over the Sol Emeralds of Blaze by Tails which has an IQ comparable to that of Dr. Eggman

Yes but that's a non factor, unless his mimicry can copy powers that stem from the DNA then he can't copy Croc's powers. Fighting styles and magical / supernatural abilities are different.

Neo can copy powers that derive from DNA, which is called Bio-Data in the IDW comics, as MS copied the intelligence of Eggman and how to be able to copy the pyrokinesis of Blaze, which comes from DNA origin (Bio-Data) too
