Yeah, just how we handle Archie Sonic’s FateHax, temporaries still work on both characters. Wincon via Incap can work to win VSBW matches.

Tho, Kirby’s Empathic Manipulation isn’t temporary. But it’s also fact if Kirby is not a villain and his Empathic Manipulation wouldn’t stop Mario from saving Peach, since, morality wise, they kind of are on the same side in the battle of Good vs Evil.

It would just stop Mario from fighting Kirby.

Inhale is pretty inevitable for Mario to escape given LS difference, and getting inside Kirby's stomach incapacitates him for as long as Kirby doesn't feel like summoning him as a Helper. Friend Hearts are self-explanatory on reading what they do, AP wise Kirby scales to higher given everything shown on the pages, and skills wise Kirby has faced more competent fighters, with other main characters portrayed less impressively actually scaling to each other.
