Last Time talking about Supes One Million

Ok, hopefully this is the last time I make a thread for this guy for sometime...unless we suddnely get new comics for him or something. Luckily, this will be very simple with little to no controversy as this is just some last additions to the profile that I forget about or realized after thinking some stuff over.

1. Addition of Durability Negation. This comes from the fact that Superman can disassemble things on the Quantum level. If he's operating on the quantum level, I definitely think he can neg durability.

2. Addition of Non-Physical Interaction. This comes from the fact that Superman can interact with and contain the Laughing Virus. FYI, the Laughing Virus is essentially a ghost who can possess people or machines by intangibly entering their bodies.

3. Superman should have 4-A durability with shields. His shields are produced via telekinesis with his being strong enough to help move an entire galaxy. I don't think it's stretch to say that his shields should be able to handle or contain that same level of power.

I think these are very straightforward and reasonable additions.

1. Where does it say he can disassemble things on a quantum level? It only says "I'll disassemble it with my quantum vision".

2. Is there some context to it? Because it says that it is trapped in a psychic bubble of its own creation.

3. Do you have scans for this?

Ok, I'm back but I won't have much time tonight as I've got to get ready for jury duty...that said let's dive.

1. I'm basing it on what happened based of the fact that he calls it Quantum Vision and what he did with it. Plus the fact that we already accepted the feat as Quantum Manipulation several threads ago with multiple people agreeing to it including Ant, Matthew and KLOL. So all I'm doing is applying the logic that, if we accepted that his Quantum Vision is a form of Quantum Manip, then him dissembling something with it has to operating at the Quantum level.

Otherwise, we have to wonder what the heck he did and then ponder why is called Quantum Vision.

2. I do believe that Bat-Mite is referring to Kal Kent/Superman when he says psychic bubble. There are also several factors to consider:

First, there's never a mention made that the Laughing Virus can do something like that. His short profile specifically notes that his power is psychic possession. So, we'd have to assume that he has a power that his previous introduction page just...didn't mention it for some reason??

Second, that flies in the face of the fact that he know that Superman can produce TK bubbles and shields, heck even a cushion. He's done so o a several occasions.

Third, why would the Laughing Virus trap himself? If he can make psychic bubbles he could have done that to Superman or Batman. It just doesn't add up.

In conclusion, we'd have to make several assumptions, which ends up raising more questions, for the Laughing Virus to be the one that made the bubble VERSUS Superman, who we know can just flatout make these kinds of constructs.

3. Tries to push back the Gorilla Galaxy but can't and then, Titano arrives to help him move it. Also, he has helped contain Solaris by reinforcing Green Lantern when the sun went Supernova as shown above in 2.

1. I wasn't aware that his Quantum Vision is already decided to be assumed as Quantum Manipulation. But out of curiosity, I'll still want to see that thread where it was decided. Because the name of the beam is irrelevant to what it actually does. Unless its directly stated that he disassembled it on a quantum level, he just disassembled it.

2 and 3 seem fine then.

Ok. Here's the thread where his Quantum Manip got proposed and added.

Also I've looked over the guy's profile and there was an addition made from another thread (not one of mine) that bugs me. Supes got Time Manipulation for punching through time. However, there's a problem though with this feat.

See, Superman 1 Mil and his JLA were trapped in the 21st century. They needed to get back to 853rd century. Their only hope at the time was to use Steel's Chronal Engine, a time machine. Supes used it as a medium to interact with Time and literally punched his way back to his time.

Problem? He can't do this on his own. The only reason he pulled it off is due to a piece of technology that provided the circumstances in the first place. Without the Chronal Engine or some kind of equivalent, he cannot replicate this feat. So, should he have Time Manip as a power? Personally, I'm inclined to remove it. If not remove, then at least leave some kind of note about it to explain. Or both.

So I didn't get any explanation from that thread about why his Quantum Vision was automatically assumed to be quantum manipulation (which is a broken power and shouldn't be handed out like that) when all he said was that he disassembled something with an attack name without giving an explanation for how it works.

Yes, you're right about the time manipulation. It should probably be removed.

Then based off of that:

1. Quantum Manip will be removed. Though what would replace it, if at all? I mean, it looks like he vaporized that weapon based off of the panel. Limited Matter Manip maybe??

2. Addition of NPI and 4-A durability with shields.

3. Removal of Time Manip. Possibly add note about it?

4. Should I also take the time to go through his abilities and add links to apporiate demonstrations of his powers?

1. Vaporization could be attributed to AP so nothing should replace it when it's all based on conjecture.

2. Yes.

3. Removal. No note is required there since that machine is not even a part of his equipment.
