Similar to the situation with the I-Rex, King Kong from the 2005 version doesn't have good justifications of be 8-C, seriously the tier was likely be put at random without even thinking.
His best feats are:
- Hold his own again 3 V-Rexes (which are likely 2 times larger and stronger than T-Rexes), while focusing in protecting Ann.
- Easily overpower a single V-Rex in a one to one match and break his jaw.
- Punch a hole as big as him thought a building (the one where he was been put as an attraction).
- Demolish multiple buildings and streets over New Work in his tentative to kill Jack.
- Destroyed a massive wood door of the human native's city of Skull Island.
None of those feats are actually 8-C feats, Kong 2005 should be dowgraded to Small Building level.
