The crossover rules denote that:
Jump Force makes mentions of their characters' past lives in their own comics, and the Umbras stage in which the final boss battle takes place showcases a series of repeating manga panels from series such as Dragon Ball, Naruto, and One Piece, as though they are part of the lore... because they are.
The series in question all exist in their natural state—all of the history that the characters have gone through is real. These series are treated as their own Jump World, where their entire story played out like you would expect their story to play out, up until the sudden merging with the Real World, so while Jump Force is not canonical to these series, they are canonical to Jump Force.
Uh, issue though. As you would expect, powerscaling does not matter to these people.
A Post-DIO's World Jotaro is absolutely dumbfounded after Pegasus Seiya states that the Gold Saints are capable of delivering blows faster than light, even going so far as to claim that moving at lightspeed would be an impossible feat, which is funny, because he has a Stand that moves faster than light. And, even ignoring all of the calculations that we have, which the authors and editors of these series could give less of a **** about (even though, c'mon, Araki's intent when showing Silver Chariot outracing a beam of light was to convey that Silver Chariot was faster than light), a far weaker Star Platinum—from Part 6 to be exact—is stated to travel faster than light. He is considered unbeatable by Red Hot Chilli Pepper, even after he was juiced-up on Morioh's electricity, which made him nearly lightspeed.
Kind of stupid, right? Yes.
Stuff like this exists all across the Jump Force story, but I do not have the time right now to go through all of them—I'm on a crappy Chromebook. But, you get the point. So, one hand, Jump Force treats these series and their history as canonical in their entirety, but also has discrepancies in the portrayal of abilities, like the Jotaro and Pegasus Seiya conversation.
Non-canon crossovers do not officially take place within any of the involved continuities. Examples may include Marvel Vs Capcom, Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe, or the Dragon Ball/One Piece/Toriko special episode. Given the multiple inconsistencies and lack of canonicity to their original source materials, using these crossovers to scale to canon or canon feats to scale to non-canon original characters is forbidden.
Now, this puts me into a sticky situation.Onesided crossovers officially take place within one continuity, but not the other. Given that some characters may be parodies of their original counterparts, they could potentially get a separate profile scaling from the other verse based on their importance to the story.
