That can be explained via my chapter 76 scans as Gojo mentioned that cursed energy is one of the metrics by which the targets are selected automatically by the infinity. Therefore he's not granted complete resistance/immunity to mind attacks.

The main debate here is whatever gojo can sense Mana or not.

If he can he just block everything julius thrown at him and figure out julius abilities eventually.

Julius was fast with his teleportation and magic casting, but his natural reaction is actually slow. During the fight at the royal capital, Patri said that even though Julius can see the future he's still limited by how fast he can react to it (when patri injured julius).

Also, note that Patri was actually faster than Julius, for example, that time when patri appeared at the hideout to rescue his comrades from Julius' time spell Julius said that Patri's magic was able to outpace him. His precog allowed him to bridge that gap

There is currently nobody in Jujutsu kaisen with a domain that large. The largest domain so far is 15 finger Sukuna's with a range of 200 meters. Everyone else's domain seems to be like the size of a room or the size of a house from the outside

Assuming domains manifest instantaneously, the caster would still have to weave the hand sign for it to activate, and since Julius has precog he will be able to foresee the domain and teleport out of range. In order for Gojo to catch Julius in infinite void, he would have to cast the hand sign faster than Julius can react
