Jax's skill is immensely greater than people who willingly fight barehanded because theyre too skilled with every weapon to get any enjoyment out of combat, willingly use equipment that cripples their aim just so they can have a challenge, mastered techniques as childre that took masters of the same technique years upon years to lear, can tell when people will die and what their physical weaknesses are just by listening to them walk and breathe, and can analyze their opponent in combat so precisely that they can always win a fight with a single attack. He's also considered far superior to people who are widely recognized as the second and third best blade wielders in the entire world, as well as one of the best duelists in the world.
