is it possible to calc the amount of energy required to stun something?

as in the amount of energy required to make someone pass out ect?

looking for a way to quantify the stun settings for Star Wars guns

Though i'm not sure if it is, it probably won't be very high considering, y'know, Humans can stun one another with a punch.

Stun bolts are light blue energy blasts which affect a target's nervous system directly, overwhelm it, then knock them out for a few to several minutes.

I don't think there is a way to quantify this.
