That happens sometimes but it's never implied to be Kurama amping it, the series tells us when Kurama is actually amping Naruto or not.

Naruto since the Mizuki's incident is almost always amped by Kurama so he can damage the seal. The anime explained that better (but the explanation is for the manga). That's also, together with the comments of Hagoromo about Naruto being "crap" despite his parents, shows that Naruto "own" chakra reserves are not large (at least compared to his "brother of soul"), just people like Jiraiya and Kakashi overstimated what portion of "Naruto's chakra" was from "Naruto himself" and not his biju. The greatest example of overestimation of Naruto "own" capabilities it's the made by Yamato in the first part of Shippuden.

I'm very sure if you want to go with Kishimito's intention, Naruto's creating and one shooting Kabuto with his Rasengan it's fully meant to be his accomplishment and his accomplishment only, saying that Kurama helped him at the last bit undermines that.

Again, and this bear repeating, the series makes it very clear when Naruto is getting amped by Kurama's Chakra or not, just his eyes turning to slits doesn't mean he got a boost.

To Japanese people, your weapon is literally part of your, Kurama is part of Naruto being his weapon, the message of the story is about NOT DOING things alone.
