I don't think Dragonborn can fight while he's intangible. As for soul tears, that only works on dragons as far as I remember

Well I meant he can't actively use it . That's common with many intangibility users (Hit and Obito for example)

Never mind, you're right. It's legitimate soul rip. It also seals the opponent's soul in a vessel (or soul gem, if dragonborn is carrying any)
