These bullets are piercing type ones, aka their not round.

Luffy has been stabbed I think, it’s only if the objects are blunt that he can deflect them.

If their piercing and very sharp luffy’s gonna get cut and damaged

The gun is 8x luffy's dura, luffy is rubber. Most revolver bullets aren't even pointy and actually the hunters bullets aren't pointy... So luffy simply would deflect it
