How fast is this?

A character is ambushed by seventy-something attackers (all mundane humans), while being recorded by a high-speed camera that produces a frame every thousandth of a second.

In one frame, he's completely idle as the attackers come within melee range, in the next frame his limbs are blurs, and in the next he's returned to his idle position and the first wave of attackers are flying backwards.

How fast is this?

Just text won't give all the information that's needed. Did this happen in a video or comic? If so link them.

Sounds like subsonic to me since he is moving faster than the eye. But if he is moving in 1 thousanth of a second then it might be subsonic+

Moving just 5 meters in 1 thousandth of a second already appears to be mach 14.5 according to my calculation.

It also depends on whether he was throwing all of them individually or knocking them back with telepathy or some sort of kinetic energy.

A character wonders if he did it telekinetically, and it specifically corrects them and states that each one was punched and/or kicked in that timeframe
