Orange you twat, I AM scaling Al's shadow to High 6-A and additionally I scale his shield at High 6-A. The **** you want from me? Maybe he should upscale from Adam right for making him stroke his chin for a second, yeah that makes sense.

To clear something up, standard scaling chains 100% still apply.

We aren't saying Full Power Alastor and ******' Husk are in the same ballpark, they are on opposite ends of the scaling chain, most notably.

Tbf that was while targeting his weak spot (injury). Same with Val punching him.

We still have Vel doing minor damage to his face though, so there’s that.

Yeah. I best remember my own calcs on this, so this and this do that, and they're accepted. (Hell, for the second one, a CGM suggested I use a slightly different, shorter timeframe due to some context, and I ended up agreeing).

In cases like this, yeah it depends on context. I didn't remember the "bad tickle" stuff when I wrote that comment, and as you say there was a part where more was siphoned and that instance is used for a big calculation. Plus, while I could imagine someone being able to output "a bad tickle taken for 20 seconds", I'm not sure if they'd be able to output "a bad tickle taken for 3 hours" (I'm not saying either of these is precisely the case, they're demonstrative examples of extreme cases that could be treated differently).

There's a reason I said "I'm not sure if Lucifer should scale to the full value of the weapon, and the overlord-level characters stopping it from going haywire absolutely shouldn't". From the start, I remembered the latter scene a lot better, and knew that the former could have exculpating context.

For the case of the Overheat, think of it like throwing a shield around a nuclear reactor wanting to explode, everything before the blast doesn't really matter

And honestly, we can just divide the result by the amount of seconds Emily was doing it for, since this is a fair point.

As I said earlier, idk how the whole scaling chain would work out.

But I'd think that Emily would be on the weaker end, without much way to reach up to the stronger characters in that feat. I'd say she should get "Unknown, at least {other substantiated tier}, possibly far higher (contributed an unclear degree to this)". Which also means I'd want it to be split fewer ways among the others that did more meaningfully contribute.
 
Will say, looking around the feats, the only real power feat I saw from her was compared to Vox..... whom she couldn't escape the grip of.

Gal can rely on that Seraphin scaling all she wants, buuuut she still gets below Vox in the stats

I got the vibe that she was a newer/weaker one, and that seraphims aren't really combat-oriented.

Like, I'd think that if they were, some would've been sent down for the exterminations, since at least Sera approved of it.

(On the other hand, maybe they just needed angelic bodies, not necessarily the strongest ones, since they had Adam to handle any Big Bads, and the rest were thought to be immortal?)

And the mere fact she participated means she's got some strength to her, I just think she'll probably end up at the lowest band.

She got restrained tbf, and it doesn’t really show power for such contexts, e. g. Alastor restrained General of Exorcists, doesn’t mean he is stronger.
