REASONING
Yep, this is another thread about Yujiro's Earthquake feat. Let's put aside the whole debate on whether or not he actually stopped the earthquake, and just assume that he did. This accepted calc states that Yujiro stopped an earthquake with a Richter Scale of 6. This is just completely wrong. An Richter 6 Earthquake would:
We clearly see in later chapters that there is no rubble and the buildings are completely undamage (If the link isn't working, its Grappler Baki Chapter 174). This earthquake shook the entire city apperantly, so why are these buildings unaffected? Even if we do consider the argument, that all structures are earthquake-proof (which is true for Japan), there should still be "slight to moderate damage", not no damage. Also no rubble at all?
It is far more reasonable to assume the earthquake was a Richter Scale of 5 because:
This would give us the Low End of the accepted calc or 482.25 tons (8-A).

Damage to a moderate number of well-built structures in populated areas. Earthquake-resistant structures survive with slight to moderate damage. Poorly designed structures receive moderate to severe damage. Felt in wider areas; up to hundreds of kilometers from the epicenter. Strong to violent shaking in the epicentral area. (Source) |
It is far more reasonable to assume the earthquake was a Richter Scale of 5 because:
Can cause damage of varying severity to poorly constructed buildings. Zero to slight damage to all other buildings. Felt by everyone. (Source) |
