Good Place Conceptual Manipulation

The demons from Good Place get their Conceptual Manipulation from being able to inhale the concept of time as a drug. Currently, their level of conceptual manipulation is rated as type 3 or type 2 however I don't think either are correct

Both type 2 and type 3 concepts govern reality in such a way, that if they are altered, reality itself would change to reflect this.

But in the case of the demons, consuming the concept of time never caused reality to be altered, it only gave them a high similar to a drug. As such this feat should not be treated as type 3 or type 2 conceptual manipulation given how both are defined on the wiki

If it hasn't altered reality, it's type 4 at most.

Was the perception of time of normal beings altered after this? If not, I believe that it doesn't fit our standards for conceptual manipulation in general

It did not. Though it was literally stated to be "snorting the concept of time" which seems like an explicit statement of conceptual manipulation.

The issue is that our page for conceptual manipulation deals only with abstractions that govern reality, or at least a part of it.

If it had no effect at all, it wouldn't really qualify.

To use an example, people like Madoka Kaname have conceptual manipulation not only because they are stated to affect the concept, but also because you see reality being reshaped when they affect the concept.

Even Type 4 still implies abstraction. If you altered a Type 4 reality wouldn't change to meet it, but sentient perception would. If a Type 4 is directly manipulated the perception of others would have to bend to meet it even if reality itself is unaffected.

@Zac Based on Assalt's and Kal's replies, do you still think the conceptual manipulation types are correct?

I agreed otherwise even characters like Time Baby could have Conceptual Manipulation since he "Can change time with ease and can eat and drinks time" and Bill Cipher whose Time feats at least range to Time Baby's level. Thus, I would agree for a downgrade.

Before the revisions, didn't Bill Cipher have a similar reasoning for conceptual manipulation? ie being able to "eat" life?
