Children who were given Dragon Ball Evolution for Christmas were outraged by how awful the movie was, the parents then blamed Santa for giving the children this awful movie, ruining the saint's reputation, while it was actually the parents who bought the movie for their kid. With his reputation ruined, Santa was then seen as a joke to the children, and they wanted Santa to be replaced with a more reliable gift giver. Santa decides he's had enough and goes to the past before DBE was released, and battles Goku before the movie destroys his reputation.
