Unless I am missing something, SSJR Trunks could contend with Half-Corrupted Zamasu (who fought on par with Vegito Blue, who in BASE is much stronger than Black-arc SSJBKK Goku).

While Gohan is on par with Pre UIS SSJB Goku who in SSJG is a bit superior to Black arc SSJB, meaning that Gohan could pretty much be comparable to Base Vegito.

This is an AP stomp in Trunks favor imo.

SSJR Trunks only matched Corrupt Fusion Zamasu with the spirit Bomb Ki Blade

Without it, he scales to the likes of Black arc Goku and Goku Black

so it's a much closer fight that you realize
