Genos fights Chakram

Fight takes place inside Boros's ship.

Both have prior knowledge of each other.

Both are on different levels of the ship, genos is right above Chakram and vice versa.

Standard Battle Assumptions otherwise.

Let's go!

Genos
Chakram

Score:

Genos: 1

Chakram: 0

Is this Genos prior to or after his latest upgrade? Apparently it affects his statistics, & gives him 1 extra ability.

As for Chakram, how do his abilities work? Could he petrify or seal Genos? What exactly does his Darkness Manipulation do? How does his intangibility work?

Also, Genos can use fire & electricity, energy projection, & Chakram's body apparently gets destroyed by being exposed to sufficient amounts of light. Could Genos win via the light from those?

Can Genos hit Chakram enough to get past High-Mid regen? Probably, but intangibility & such put that into question, hence my asking.

Although, Genos does seem to have one major advantage: Range. Chakram's is several meters. Genos's range is "Standard melee range. Several hundreds of meters with laser beams". Genos apparently having laser beams (What kind? Are they light that would work well against Chakram?) aside, that, plus flight means he can outrange Chakram.

Then it just becomes a match of stamina & skill. Unfortunately, Chakram's stamina is unknown, & I'm unsure how both would fare with Genos prolongedly attacking at range. Could they dodge/aim/hit reliably & effectively for long enough for it to matter?

Not sure so far.

This is post upgrade Genos. Might change it if necessary

Chakram has only used his petrification and sealing once against some children so I can't really say for certain if it will work differently on Genos, but I personally don't think Genos should have resistance to petrification or sealing. His darkness manip includes morphing his own shadowy body like clay, shooting projectiles of darkness, attacking his targets by attacking their shadows etc. he uses his intangibility to pass through walls and the floor and has never shown using it to bypass durability.

I think his light should suffice, yes.

As for dodging, Chakram may have a significant speed advantage here, because he scales to this feat.

Hmm I think Genos maybe able to pull out a win here.

Well the thing here is that Genos can very easily play the range game through out this enter match due to The Whole having knowledge on each other, add that with flight and you got Genos just spamming beam blasts from a distance. Add that with the fact that this is recent upgrade Genos which means that he would be sure as hell have the AP advantage (Genos in this form is far superior than his first form which performed the 14 megaton feat) and the add the fact that this form has the ability to produce light so bright that it could blind people and you get why I think Genos could beat Chakram.

But Chakram on the other hand has Intangilibty which could help him to avoid most of Genos' Beam attacks and regents which makes it tough for Genes to put him down for good (though based on how Genos beams work they could maybe bypass this regen), add BFR and sealing and Chakram could pull of a win if Genos gets too careless. But since this is the most recent version of Genos that would mean that he would be less reckless in battle.

So I give Genos a 7/10 chance to win this battle via his range, AP advantage, His limited flight which while being limited does give him the ability to play keep away long enough to just absolutely blast Chakram with everything he's got. And his own ability to produce light while fighting.

I've updated the battle conditions.

Edit: aaaand I have updated it again.
