Kirito would most likely start with a quick sword skill such as Vorpal Strike (which doubles the length of his sword for the duration the skill is active )or something like Slant.

Fighting against an enemies with reach that goes beyond his sword range wouldn't be too much of an issue since he can send energy attack to "extend" his blade further.

Calibur is actually the person thats the most skilled swordsman in his generation. So even in his first key, he already matched and defeated him.

His flames in Crimson Dragon Saber deconstructs. Also, in a straight up sword fight, Saber would win. So I vote Saber for now.
