One of the scans in the thread doesn't work (the second one), I fail to see what the first proves at all and the video is unavailable for me.

Oof well, it doesn't work on mobile for some reason, but it works on PC.

Well it was to show Doomguy could travel through time to beat demons.
and the video is unavailable for me.
Fortunately, that's not a bad thing because my argument for Free Movement changed. You can view my current argument in the OP which I just edited.

Disagree with both for reasons other staff have stated.

Doomguy can still get a time travelers category, but I don't think he can do it by his own power.

Sorry chief, scan's still broken. And before you ask, yes I'm on a computer too.
Hmm, I have updated it again, hopefully it works now.

I mean, even if you agree with them on the lava point, no one has debunked my last argument on Doomguy walking on blood. Only Gewsbumpz dude even tried but his counter-argument was based on a misconception that I was referring to the word "unbridgeable" in my scan, which I wasn't, and after I clarified that, no one had any counter-argument.

So what they said can't really be used as a reason for disagreeing.

I'm more leaning towards this being Game Mechanics/Technology limitation since we don't see this being possible in Doom Eternal.

That's mostly because iirc there was no level in Doom Eternal with water you needed to cross to get to the other side. Doom Eternal's water puzzles were all underwater and had Doomguy break walls within water.

So there wasn't really a reason to include Free Movement in Eternal.

Yes. Instead, your entire body would be submerged and your head sometimes gets outside water if you spam click the jump button. The game makes you go underwater, pushes you, because water puzzles only happens underwater. If their aim was to not let Doomguy have Free Movement, they would have at least let you do something like in Uncharted and let you swim on top of water.

Doom Eternal can't be used to say Doomguy doesn't have Free Movement as your aim is to stay underwater in the game, not swim across to the other side.

Yeah sorry but I do not agree with the time travel thing. "Time-walker" can just be used to mean a very old/immortal presence.
