Fairy Tail: Minor Speed Downgrade for the 6-B Characters

Welp it's my second downgrade CRT, but this one is far less egregious than the last one. So, the recent 100 Years Quest chapter came out and gave us this beautiful statement.

So, Haku is light speed. What about it? Well, it got me thinking about the current FTL scaling for the Dark Dragon Slayer Knights and, by extension, the human forms of Acnologia and the Dragon Gods. Much like their initial AP scaling, I think it's faulty. Here's why.

First and foremost, it relies on the idea that Suzaku is faster than a somewhat weakened God Seed Aldoron due to blitzing Base Natsu when the latter couldn't. However, not only was Natsu off-guard due to only focusing on attacking Suzaku (as he was enraged) while he was more on guard against Aldoron, but more importantly, this Aldoron still blitzes Natsu. This renders that idea null and void.

So, now what? How do we scale these guys?

The answer is simple, actually: we use Haku's statement and scale these people to Speed of Light. The Knights, barring Suzaku, are stated to be just like Suzaku, which definitely means power but also speed (as Selene was impressed by Suzaku overall, and given that he couldn't have kept up with Selene if he didn't have the speed, it's natural that this statement extends to speed as well).

So yeah, the 6-B's would go down to Speed of Light, but it's going from 1.7c to 1c so it really isn't much of a downgrade.

I agree, Weakened Aldoron is toying with Natsu the entire time and still blitzes him, he doesn’t get serious until he uses Forest of Swords, Aldoron is no where in sight and then basically teleports a gut punch into Natsu, the only time Base Natsu is able to successfully land an attack is when Aldoron is stopped by Gajeel attacking his full body

So yeah, this downgrade is fine, also it’s supported by how the DDSK are all on the same level and Haku is light speed

Should it be note that Suzaku blitz and one shot both Natsu and Erza when they weakened. They just have a touch battle and have injured all of they body

It hurts me, but I agree, most likely in the future by power scaling we will have characters at FTL+, so I think this is good in the long run.

Makes sense, tho personally I'd consider Haku as somewhat faster than the other DDSK, because if speed is the White Tiger Dragon's specialty, but a bunch of other comparable characters are just exaclty as fast as him, then it kind of loses its meaning.

I'm not arguing they're incredibly slower, not at all, and it's just my personal take.
I'd just say he'd stand over them, although not by an incredible amount.
Like, if he's perfect baseline SoL, they could be 99.9% SoL or whatever.

To be fair, one of Suzaku’s most important traits was that he was extremely fast as well, that was notably a trait of being a Sword Saint Dragon

Like, haku thing is speed and hax, suzaku main thing is speed and sword skills, i don't see why their speed would not be equal TBH
