Long story short in a verse I like a weapon is stated to be able to generate light rivaling a supernova
How would I go about calculating that

Sounds consistent enough with the high end stuffMight of An-Utu’s in game decription
That it has a radiance rivaling a supernova
Radiance refers to Heat/Light either or
Using light I got around low end Large Planet level results
Might try heat out of curiosity too
I’m just curious about how consistent heat would even beSounds consistent enough with the high end stuff
If its around Solar level it'd be consinstent with basically one shotting sirin, and sirin was able to be taken down by the welt supernova explosion soI’m just curious about how consistent heat would even be
Since supernovae are 100+ billion Kelvin sometimes which is insane
Interesting I got 3.9e35 joules/second5.00000000000000036e+36 joules (This is the low end) eh i might have used the wrong numbers though. might have to use the total radiated energy instead of the ergs per second. which using those numbers would give a higher result.
How Bright Can Supernovae Get?
Enormously bright supernovae have been observed in recent years. But is there a limit on the brightness these stellar explosions can achieve?aasnova.org

Find the luminosity in ergs then covert to joules. i used google to convert it.
Well it varies alotIf its around Solar level it'd be consinstent with basically one shotting sirin, and sirin was able to be taken down by the welt supernova explosion so
