Dr. Bright vs Yang Xiao Long

ok, this is the only SCP researcher match where the researcher isn't basically auto-bloodlusted

he probably shoots her a bunch with his revolver after she either charges him or shoots him, which he may survive depending on the key, which, even if he dies, will eventually kill her as her aura doesn't block radiation and she doesn't have the regen to counter it

if she can not get hit enough to die from cancer and kills Bright, and, i don't know if she does so in character, but if she randomly touches 963, she's now bright

i vote Bright with mid difficulty although you probably didn't expect anything differnet ovo

Bright either:

> Gives yang progressive cancer

> Slaps her with his pendant and gets a blonde hair-do

Yang isn't dodging invisible radiation, although she has a small chance of winning if she plays the range game, which she's pretty unlikely to do until Bright dies.

Yang is hopeless here. What can she even do?
She could try beating him through sheer range, but that's not in-character of her.

Hl3 or bust said:
shoot him from a distence/actually attempt to stay out of sight and not touch 963
How would she know about 963's properties?

She's a brawler; she would close distance more times than not to punch him around.

she wouldn't, but i think she'd know that a massive red amulet is something weird and possibly dangerous

if she does that, she has no chance whatsoever

Not really. It looks like regular jewlery. If anything, she'd see it as odd and try to hit it, thinking it would be some sort of equipment that bolsters his abilities or whatever, or a weak spot of his.

She does that pretty often, but sometimes she does a ranged battle. Just not enough for her to assuredly win here.

Yes, but she wouldn't know about its effects, so it would be 50/50.

Jack would actively attempt to have her touch it too, so if she gets close he'd just have to slap her with it or something.

When he's trying to kill someone, yes, he actively tries to have his opponent touch his amulet. He tries doing this to 682 among other characters.

Given his intelligence he could easily set up a situation where Yang would end up touching it either through bluffing/baiting or just clever tactics.

Bright would have to take down her aura to use 963 on her as 963 cant bypass forcefields
I sort of doubt Aura prevents you from touching objects in the physical sense.

Even then Aura is an extension of Yang's soul, and Bright's amulet replaces souls/minds with his, so I think his amulet touching her aura would cause a takeover anyways.

Aura also wouldn't block a radiation-based attack, at least not high-frequency gamma waves.

@Dargoo Yes Aura prevents physical contact, its a full body forcefield

But yeah i forgot thats what 963 does so it would still work

Ehhh, now that I'm looking at it Aura could protect her from being mind/soulswapped.

Bright still takes this more times than not via Radiation.

@Dargoo No, Aura is a projection of the user's soul, its not literally made of their soul. If it were their literal soul every character would be able to survive soul damage and destruction and regenerate their souls

Yeah, I get what you're saying. Makes sense.

Bright shoots his gun.
