Fate is a common topic on the series, in fact the big bad for the newly starting arc is already known to possess a book he wrote with the foretold events of the future, so it's unlikely the Almighty would be portrayed as an higher force.

Hearts and souls are explicitly different things in the series, but they're kinda related, plus there's several similar semantics as is (regarding Bleach souls to KH hearts), so I could see stuff going among those lines regardless.
 
Isnt it just the streaming right to this particular season? Im pretty sure Viz/Shuesha still owns Bleach as a whole.
