All Dire animals should get resistance to mind manipulation due to this statement - Frostburn Page 115

This would for sure effect:
Dire Boar, Megaloceros, Dire Wolf, Dire Bear, Dire Tortoise, Dire Rhinoceros, Dire Rat

Not sure if they count as Dire Animals but they follow them in the vein of either pre historic version or the animal but larger/more dangerous:
Giant Frog, Giant Lizard, Mostodon, Megatherium

I think they should count considering stuff like Dire Rat are just oversized rats while Megaloceros is just a prehistoric deer
