Determining Reality Warping

How does one normally determine whether a power is reality warping or another power? For example, changing a person into stone or a rabbit would be transmutation, twisting space and time in on itself would be space/time manipulation, messing with concepts is conceptual manipulation, a solar system appearing is creation or possibly summoning. So how does the wiki determine when a power is reality warping instead of just a different power?

Reality Warping is specifically defined. However, some powers such as information manipulation, at a very high level, would be reality warping. It is a power that borderlines and crosses with others. Even a certain level of conceptual manipulation, would be reality warping.

"Reality" is defined as the state of something as we know it, or as we perceive it. That's why what is real to us, is defined as reality while what is imaginary is defined as imaginative or fiction.

One problem with reality warping is that every power can theoretically be part of reality warping and vice versa one could say that every application of reality warping could be archieved by using one or multiple other abilities. That makes finding precise requirements difficult.

I think generally reality warping is given really liberally currently, without a strict definition on which feats have to exist to get it. (e.g. Santa Claus has it)

I think it often is used as a "doesn't fit anything else or is very vague"-ability.

So in the current state of the profiles I wouldn't give much on a character having or not having reality warping, it doesn't tell you anything.

Most won't fulfill all requirements of:

"The ability to change reality into how the person in question sees fit while screwing the rules of science. Users can alter any item already considered real. Anything decision made in the past, any item ever created, any movement, choice, color, atom, or molecule that exists can be changed. All of existence bends to the imagination of a reality warper. Users can rewrite the laws of physics and then change them back in an instant, universes can bend to the will of a reality warper."

Given that currently almost 1500 characters have the ability reviewing all profiles to establish a more accurate use of the term is sadly also a large scale project that won't happen any time in the near future, so it likely won't be improved upon anytime soon.

I also agree with DontTalk.
