I'm not good with words, but the meteor from PMD that Rayquaza busted is at least 161 yottatons. It can be 2 ninatons, but I'll bring it up later.

I have a screen cap of the person calc'ing the feat.

Speedy PMD Meteor Calc
However, the distance of the meteor when it was causing the natural disasters on the planet is farther than the sun. And since the sun doesn't cause EQs and other natural disasters due to its gravity, we can use it's force of gravity and that's where the 2 ninaton value comes from.

This buffs Deo, base Ray, Mew, and base M2 to 5-A, and given how high the value is, those above would trickle into baseline dwarf star level.

The disasters ain't caused by gravity, unless I forgot about a statement that they are.

The things behave nothing like they would if caused by gravity.

Literally everything would need to float upwards if that was the case.

Wait, why is 1 month being used as a low-end? The meteor explicitly was stated to reach earth in 10 days.

Mixed the feats up. Im stupid. Nvm.

We use gravity cause there isn't really any other explanation for how the distasters were caused. All we know is that the meteor's presence near the earth was causing earthquakes and misc natural disasters around the earth, such as the ground splitting at the beginning of the game. This isn't unprecedented in real life, there have been multiple reports on the potential for a meteor of a great enough mass to cause earthquakes if it were to get near the planet. There have been reports on the moon's gravitational force against the Earth, and how it could have an influence in causing earthquakes.

The only other explanation would be that it was Deoxys using its psychic powers to cause these events, but that doesn't make sense cause Deoxys was explicitly asleep and dormant as the meteor approached Earth. There's nothing suggesting that it was Deoxys's powers which were causing this as opposed to the meteor's own gravity.

Yeah, no. Gravity doesn't work as explanation, because the events don't match gravity either. As said, at this mass gravity would cause things to straight up fly upwards. To that comes that it also doesn't explain other catastrophes caused by the meteor, like the absence of wind in some places, the melting of ice or two magnemite sticking together.

Using an extremely high end explanation for not knowing how it works makes no sense. It's like people claiming that if someone turns sand into water they obviously rearranged matter at a subatomic level.

The meteor was probably just supernatural or was "disturbing the balance of the world".
