Delta vs Bambietta Basterbine vs Big Mom vs Erza Scarlett vs Merlin Vs Dorothy Unsworth vs Ryuko vs Crona vs Esdeath vs Chrome Dokuro vs Issei

Chrome’s mindhax? How potent is it, and why is she gonna be targeting Merlin with it?
Her illusions are AOE.

It effects everyone within a certain range.

And although she'd start with real illusions over standard mind manip in character she'd also use Information analysis early and see who can't resist base illusions.

So MM being used against peeps is a solid wincon.

I’m a bit occupied with this and others, haven’t kept up with the debates much. Someone wanna explain to me how Chrome’s illusions work? Are they magic-based?

So if Linlin doesn't believe the illusions (via Observation), they won't be real hmmmmmm?

So I guess Linlin's good
Nah, not how that works.

That's only for base illusions. And it's not that they become real, it's that they affect you as if they are real.

Edit:

Real illusions, are just that, real.

Future arc and up, everyone adds mist flames to their illusions. Otherwise they would legit fail against most of the cast.

The point of an illusionist is to make the illusion as real as possible, so while she still uses illusions with no mist flames and sometimes she mixes them with real illusions, it's ooc for that to be her focus.
Illusions that aren't using the Construction of Mist Flames are still a thing at all points, Genkishi used them against Yamamoto, Torikabuto used them against Tsuna, they didn't stop being useful, and here they are more useful than ever cause creating some solid projectiles isn't going to kill everyone, but the illusions like Mukuro and Mammon used in Varia arc will since most resistances here are low (like BM and Bambi).

I'd say all of those had mist flames construction element, but let's not argue that here.

Also, how do the illusions activate?

Is it like contact based, do they have to look at it, how does it work?

Well if everyone is doing big aoe shit then I dont see merlin getting out of being mind haxxed tbh since her resistance is so bad.

Range of the Illusions?

BM would be far in the air when she escapes the dream world of Dorothy, I wanna know how far it is

Yeah that brain is organic.
And the rest is mechanical. And again transferred to his Computer upon death, still 100% has a soul.
If it is on the probe on her back (somehow) then they would still need to know that. Said probe would be floating around harmlessly. Also that is the definition of remote...
So a battle where 99% of the combatants can fly and no one would notice Delta releasing his probe?

If her illusions are AOE and she has information analysis to know weaknesses, then i vote merlin for being taken out by chrome
