Meliodas is 458.8 GT while Asta is 690 GT so if they don't do power ups, Asta has a notable 1.5× AP/Dura advantage.

Assault Mode Meliodas is 1.38 TT, therefore he's 2× stronger than Black Asta. However, Asta has access to Black Divider which can easily slice through Zagred (he scales to 1.38 TT as well, above that actually) and he can still increase its efficiency.

Meliodas: The most notable ones I can think of would be sealing and soul manipulation which he doesn't use in character, and regeneration but he grows weaker the more he uses it (according to his profile)

Asta: Precog, Accelerated Development, and Anti-Magic but only if Meliodas actually uses magic


Post-Timeskip Asta quickly uses Black Divider after going into Black Asta too so Meliodas gonna need to use AM really soon if he doesn't want to lose. I guess Meliodas can outlast with regen and then use revenge counter but that is unlikely since Asta has precog, that's also assuming he can handle Black Divider long enough.

I would give this battle to Asta with Mid to High Difficulty
